New Shoes Make Me Happy!

I have new shoes!! :-).. Another pair from Dorothy Perkins, I am very impressed with their shoes just now. I have test-driven these shoes and they were very comfy, and they are not too high so I can wear them during the day too! They were an absolute bargain. I was browsing the internet on a Sunday night (sunday nights seem to be lethal for my bank balance) and Dorothy Perkins were doing £20 off shoes. So I got these for just £25!! I am a very happy girl. 

Christmas is getting closer! I watched The Holiday last night so I am really getting in to the Christmas mood now. (And I maybe had a mince pie for breakfast this morning....)

This is what I am wearing to spend my day at uni...on a Sunday! Even though it is depressing going to uni on a Sunday, these new leopard leggings have cheered me up. They are fab! I got them from Urban Outfitters and love them because they are quite subtle but quirky. The necklace is also from Urban Outfitters. This shirt tunic is from Vero Moda and is so easy to wear.... I think I might get it in black too.  I hardly take these shoes off. The wedge is a perfect height for during the day.  So, despite having to write an essay today I am quite happy. And the sun is out! All my coursework will be handed in soon which means it will be time for Christmas movies, mince pies and mulled wine. Bring on the festive season.

Photo Shoot

Hi! I wanted to show you some photos from a photo shoot we did for university.  The clothes were designed by Hannah Duncan, a graduate from Grays School of Art in Aberdeen. They are beautiful designs! It was so fun doing the photo shoot but freeeeeezing.  Sophie, our poor model, was turning blue.  We chose the worst day to do the shoot it was cold and windy and we were balancing on cliffs at the North Sea! But I think it was well worth it as the photos are looking really good. Hope you like them!

Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I have new shoes to show you.  I bought them from Zara for a wedding I had, purely because the colour was perfect with my dress, and now I have decided I actually like everything about them.  I think they look fab with leopard print! Here is my faithful leather skirt again, never lets me down. Oh and I love the arms of this top.

I nearly forgot to mention this bag!! I got this clutch bag years ago from a charity shop for only £1.50, it must be the best buy I have ever made. I use it on every night out (unless I'm not wearing black which isn't very often). It really deserves a post of it's own.

Why why why am I a skint student!?!?!?!?  Miista shoes are amazing! I managed to narrow it down to 4 of my favourite pairs. If I had the money I would buy them all, but I'm finding it difficult to choose one pair. They look so comfy, I'm sure I wouldn't be walking home barefooted after a night of dancing in these.  I definately need a pair of these in my life! I have fallen in love.

Just looking at these shoes makes me happy! I bought these ALDO glitter shoes from ASOS.  I had been wanting them for ages and ASOS were doing 20% off, so why not??  The faux fur stole was a bargain from H+M.  These are in all the shops just now but I really like the colour of this one.  Its super cosy for winter nights.  I got this dress in the Urban Outfitters sale, I think it was last year, for only £9!! I never get bored of it, it's so easy to throw on with leggings.

I dont often wear pink but I love the shade of this jumper.  This skirt was a bargain in the Topshop sale last year.  It is perfect with t-shirts, heels  and lots of jewellery for nights out when I can't decide what to wear.  I now think it is about time I invested in a good pair of leather trousers to wear with chunky knit cardigans.  Any ideas where I can get a nice pair? Not too expensive.  I can't remember where I got these tights, I have had them for ages.  I found them at the bottom of my drawer the other day and think I have new love for them.  I love this outfit now the cold weather is here!

I recently bought these new shoe boots from Dorothy Perkins, a shop I don't go in often but they had 20% off online.  I love the colour for autumn.  They surprisingly survived many hours of crazy dancing on an night out in Glasgow and so did my feet.  In fact I am more surprised I survived after dancing on tables and chairs!  They are probably the comfiest pair of heels I have.  I also want to show you these cream wide shorts.  They are one of my favourite items in my wardrobe.  I bought them in a little vintage shop I found in Melbourne.  When I was in Australia at the beginning of  the year I was trying to do the whole travelling as a student thing - cheap food, staying in hostels, travelling on buses etc.  Turns out im not very good at it.  The budget was definately blown when I searched and searched for stumbled upon some amazing shops.  These shorts were my best buy.  Great for summer nights out or winter days with cosy tights.  These photos were taken in our hotel room in glasgow.  Look at the bird hooks on the wall - I love them!

Versace and H&M Collaboration

This has to be H&M's most exciting collaboration yet!  Here are some of my favourite pieces from the collection.  It was so difficult to narrow it down - the whole collection is amazing.  It includes many of Versace's trademark designs such as sunset colours, bright green tropical prints, beautifully cut dresses and the all important studs.  This is, without a doubt, the most recognisable collaboration on the high street.  So now my dilemma is which item to buy???  Help!  Unfortunately my student overdraft will not allow me to buy all my favourites.  But the fact that I could own a Versace piece (even though I am a broke student) is very exciting.  I love the collection so much I might even risk joining the stampede on the 17th of November.

Summer Brights Are Out to Play

Hi everyone! Its a lovely sunny (but cold) day here so I thought it was a great opportunity to get my summer brights out to play.  I might be pushing it a bit since it is the middle of October but I love this colour clash! I also want to show you this top I bought in Zara last week.  Its a special edition t-shirt so obviously I couldnt leave the shop without it! I love everything about it - the pattern, the longer back and the shape (or lack of shape).  It will be great for cold uni days, when I'm not feeling so adventurous, to throw on with leggings, ankle boots and a chunky knit cardigan.  I think I have done a good job at justifying this impulse buy!
